Background

This media toolkit aims to share information and streamline messaging across C2C’s various partners. We hope this toolkit will serve as a resource for helping uplift C2C’s efforts to build the most inclusive data system of its kind. This is an evergreen toolkit and may be subject to change to ensure contents/postings are up-to-date.

NEW: The latest Student Experience Report is out now! 🧾

C2C heard from more than 11,000 students about how they prepare for college, apply for financial aid, and what their college expectations are.

We learned that many students participate in dual enrollment, which means they take college courses while enrolled in high school, and the main reason students were interested in dual enrollment was to reduce the number of classes they will need to take in college.

The report highlights the importance of high schools during the process. Whether it was a high school teacher, counselor, or program – students, especially first-gen students, relied heavily on the people around them to understand the complicated process.
