We Want to Hear from You – Cradle-to-Career Branding + Community Guidelines

The Cradle-to-Career Data System is a brand-new office in the state, and with any start-up comes the need for a cohesive look. We have made significant strides toward a streamlined vision for the C2C brand, and are working to finalize Cradle-to-Career’s official logo and name.

We want a logo and name that reflects the state’s landmark investment and goal of helping Californians build more equitable futures and empower individuals to reach their full potential. We first shared drafts of the C2C logo and name with members of the public during a Community Conversation, and revised options after sharing versions with staff and our Advisory and Governing Boards for their thoughts and feedback. We are in the final stretch of design and are turning to YOU for final input.

Share your thoughts now – take our survey.

Community engagement and transparency are key components of our work, and as we continue to employ a user-centered design process, we have a unique opportunity to build the Cradle-to-Career community we all want. In our most recent Community Conversation, we collaborated in drafting clear and shared expectations of how we will engage with one another.

New Resource: Data Elements by Provider

Cradle-to-Career is building a statewide data system that will provide tools to help students reach their goals and deliver information on education and workforce outcomes. The data system will connect individuals and organizations with trusted information and resources and will provide insights into critical milestones in the pipeline from early care to K–12 to higher education, skills training, and employment.

To better understand the planned data points for the system, we created a handy spreadsheet and web page that lists data points approved by the Governing Board on May 3, 2022, by provider. The data will appear in the deidentified, linked analytical dataset, which is the foundation for the C2C system’s data dashboards, query builder, and research request tool.

  • California Recognized for Data and Evidence-Based Practices
Results for America recently recognized Cradle-to-Career as part of California’s Honorable Mention in the newly released 2022 #StateStandard of Excellence which highlights evidence-based and data-driven efforts to improve outcomes for residents.

C2C Welcomes New Staff + We’re Hiring!

Cradle-to-Career is growing, and we are excited to announce recent additions to the team. Lesley Taylor, our new Director Operations, came to C2C after a decade with the California Department of Education, and our new AGPA Carolina Lazzarotto joins us from the Department of Social Services.

We’re so glad to have them on the team, and are still looking for people passionate about Cradle-to-Career’s vision of using data and evidence to advance equity. We are an open position for an Office Technician (Typing).
