The Office of Cradle to Career Data is convening two task forces to discuss ways to consistently calculate data points that will be part of the C2C analytical data set. Each task force is made up of data experts who will meet four times to develop recommendations for specific metric calculations.
All meetings will be open to the public and held over Zoom. Agendas and materials will be posted several days in advance, and log in information for each session will be posted to the website on the day of the meeting. Members of the public are welcome to submit comments either in advance to info@c2c.ca.gov or via chat during the meeting.
The Teacher Data Task Force will develop definitions for teacher preparation programs, teacher credentialing, teacher placement, and teacher retention using information provided by the California Department of Education, California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, California State University, and the Commission for Teacher Credentialing.
